South East 4x4 Response (SE4x4R) provides 4x4 vehicle support in times of need to the emergency services, local authorities and charitable groups.

Although not an emergency or rescue service, SE4x4R speciality is logistics in extreme conditions and aims to provide a reliable, 24-hr/365-day support service when other arrangements are at full capacity or cannot proceed due to inclement weather conditions.

South East 4x4 Response is an innovative opportunity in South East England where volunteers come together and support the work of those organisations that are called out on behalf of the public to deal with civil emergencies and local disruption.

The teams are made up of highly trained volunteers who give up their time, apply their skills and offer the use of their vehicles and their experience to serve the community.

We hold regular monthly meetings were all interested parties are invited to attend (see meetings section for details), we also have a very active forum with access for members and non-members.

We have a lot planned for 2011 including social activities and many training events. South East 4x4 Response holds Public Liability Insurance through the National 4x4 Response group and are full members of the National Group.
